Volunteers Make A World of Difference!

It is indeed a pleasure to call to your attention the good work done by the Volunteers for Beaverton Activity Center.  This dedicated group of volunteers has proven themselves to be “the Heart of our BAC TEAM” as a community-focused organization.  Since the Grand Opening in October, 2015, more than 25,000 recorded volunteer hours have been contributed by the over 100 volunteers.

In addition to volunteers who assist our guests in the Fitness Center, Reception Area, and Sweet “B” Café, volunteers have completed landscaping, handyman, maintenance, event hosting, cleaning, tour guiding, marketing, and decorating tasks;  all the while working, cooperatively and/or independently, with smiles on their faces.  The contributions of each and every volunteer are greatly appreciated.  Thank you, volunteers, for sharing your time and talents with the Beaverton Activity Center!

We are always looking to add new volunteers.   If you are interested in learning more about the volunteer opportunities at the Beaverton Activity Center, stop by and pick up an application at the Reception Area at the Beaverton Activity Center, located at 106 Tonkin St., Beaverton, Michigan, 48612, phone:  989-435-4104.

The Volunteer leaders for 2016-17 are Joan Cashin, President; Margie Dittmer, Vice President; Joanne Varner, Secretary/Historian; Judy Johnston, Treasurer; and Sally Hicks, Immediate Past President.
